How to be an outstanding mathematician.

This week is Maths week and the children are all starting their week working on consecutive numbers. From Willow to Hornbeam they are investigating and working with consecutive numbers to feed into an assembly with their findings at the end of the day.

Mrs Yeo kicked off maths week by asking the children to think what makes an outstanding mathematician. She talked about resilience and team work and sharing ideas. She also asked the children about their use of heuristics and how they were going to use their maths toolkits to solve problems. Watch this space!!
